Definitions:

“Sprayart” refers to the Sprayart trading company as shown on the face of the invoice/estimate.

Mechanical & Electrical Faults

Sprayart are not responsible for any unrelated mechanical or electrical faults during the course of the repair. If there are any problems to your vehicle, please do inform us in advance.

Personal belongings

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure personal belongings are removed from the vehicle, as Sprayart can not be held responsible for any loss or damage while the vehicle is in our possession.

Extent of Warranty

Sprayart guarantee repairs for a period of two years. This is a formulation and application guarantee that the finish will not degrade due to the paint being improperly mixed or applied by Sprayart. No guarantee of any sort is offered against damage to the finish by any corrosion or rust (whether or not evident before the repair was carried out) by failure of the surface to which the repair is applied (including but not limited to failure of a previous aftermarket paintwork repair), further accident or impact (including but not limited to stone chipping) or by inappropriate aftercare once the vehicle has been returned to the customer. Chip repairs, ‘touch-ins’ and any other repairs identified as such to the customer by Sprayart will be on an ‘improve only’ basis, and no representation is made and no guarantee offered that such a repair will be in any way undetectable against the original finish.

The warranty is invalid without receipt of original work carried out by Sprayart, and is not transferable.

Payment

Unless other arrangements have been agreed beforehand, payment in full is due on completion of the repair and shall be by cash, cheque (subject to cleared funds) or BACS transfer. We regret we are unable to process payment by credit/debit card at the present time. Sprayart is entitled to exercise a lien over the repaired vehicle until satisfactory payment is made by the customer.

Storage Charges

Once work has been completed on the vehicle and the customer informed, Sprayart will no longer be liable for any damage caused to the vehicle outside of Sprayart premises.

We reserve the right to charge from £10 per day to a maximum of £150 per week for larger vehicles if the vehicle is not collected after 7 days from the agreed completion day, or if payment is not made in full.
